Pul-e-Alam (BNA) Taliban shadow governor for Kharwar District, Logar province with his seven colleagues were killed yesterday.
Salim Saleh spokesman for Logar governor told BNA, Mokhtar shadow governor of Taliban for Kharwar district with his seven colleagues were killed in joint clearing operations by security and defense forces in Jozi and Mani village of the district.
According to Saleh, one of his colleague has been injured and numerous war equipment have been demolished in the operation.
It is said that security forces operations against insurgents increased during the recent day in Logar province and several days ago, a shadow governor of Taliban for Charasiasb District Kabul province was also killed by security forces in Charkh district of that province.
