Kabul (BNA) The eleventh Afghanistan-Pakistan inter-parliamentarian delegation held in Kabul.
In the session, the two sides emphasized on solving the differences and further strengthening the ties between the two countries.
The eleventh’s inter-parliamentarian session, called the session of the members of friendship group, held in a time, is talking about ensuring stability and close cooperation to achieve that goal.
Unfortunately, so far, peace has not achieved in Afghanistan and regional security situation is developing in to a challenging level. Terrorist incidents have extended in to the neighboring country Pakistan, and that country daily sees such terrorist activities.
Iran also has expressed its concern about the extension of terrorism in to its soil because, Bloch militants several times targeted Iranian territory from Pakistan soil.
Iraq also is suffering from bloody terrorist incidents and Al- Qaeda once had its stronghold in Afghanistan, now exercising its power in Syria.
There are reports that Pakistan Taliban are fighting Al-Qaeda militants in Syria and India also threat by increasing terrorist activities and the existence of hard-line Islamic groups in central Asian republics is of great concern.
The empowering of terrorist activities is deeply rooted in Pakistani seminaries or religious schools, from where several decades ago for achieving military and political objectives, the young people recruited, trained, and equipped to fight in Afghanistan and Kashmir.
Currently it has turned in to a grave problem in the level of the region, ostensibly uncontrollable by Pakistan army.
The continuation of such an atmosphere not only led to mistrusts in Afghan-Pakistan relations but the existence of trained fundamentalist groups in Pakistani seminaries caused the increasing concerns of Indi; deteriorated the situation of ethnic and religious minorities in Pakistan. Now these terrorist groups have reached Syria, some believe some terrorist incidents in Europe, and America linked to religious extremist groups in Pakistan.
In such situation, the Afghan and Pakistani parliamentarian delegations hold their session aiming to ensure security in Afghanistan and in the region.
Mr. Aftab Ahmad Shirpaw the former Pakistani interior minister, one of PPP leaders and a political activist who is heading his country parliamentarian delegation to Kabul session considering holding such sessions effective in ensuring friendship between the peoples and governments of the two countries, called the security in Afghanistan as the guarantor of security in Pakistan.
The statements by this Pakistani diplomat came in a time Afghan and Pakistan relations have experiencing a high political tension and Kabul persistently considers Pakistan’s territory as hideout and safe haven of its armed oppositions and most of terrorist incidents carried out in Afghanistan are rooted in Pakistan.
In spite of that, the authorities of the two countries for resolving the differences and restoring peace and stability to Afghanistan had met several times but had no favorite result. Because many believe that Pakistan’s foreign policy considered via two different views one from the politicians and the other from the intelligence and military authorities of that country. However, political history of Pakistan clearly indicates that this is military which enjoy the high power in Pakistan not civilian politicians. This is military especially the intelligence that says the final word or makes the final decision not the elected government by the people.
Pakistani parliamentarian delegation that includes high profile diplomats of that country who enjoy high prestige among political circles can play as bridge between the authorities of Pakistan. Without doubt, the people of Pakistan have exhausted from the dual policy in their country, because the terrorist incidents during the last two years have caused grave fatalities and problems for them that Afghan innocent people are suffering for decades.
They like Afghan suffering people now know about suicide attacks and terror deeply understand about the grave consequences of religious extremism and supremacy.
Parliament members and civil society activists can play a significant role in echoing such pains and grieves to military authorities and governing circles of Pakistan.
The strong will of parliaments, civil society, human rights activists, and opposed war people have indicated in the past that they can play a great role in bringing positive changes in the communities.
