First Vice President Receives Badakhshan Elders

Kabul (BNA) First vice president Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim received a delegation of elders and religious leaders of Badakhshan province yesterday. 
According to the press office of presidential palace, in the meeting also attended by Badakhshan governor Dr. Shah Waliullah Adeeb, the vice president said the national security forces are well trained and well equipped and can defend the country security after the pullout of foreign forces, saying there is no need to worry after the foreign forces withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The vice president also noted that the people are determined to overcome all the challenges lying ahead and elect the country’s leadership through fair election.
He also called on the elders to pay more attention to the security of the Badakhshan province.  Meantime, in his speech Mufti Qazi Hafizurahman Naqi the head of Badakhshan provincial council assured the support of people of Badakhshan to the government.
However, he briefed the vice president about the problems of Badakhshan province and demanded the government attention for the solution.  For his part, the vice president assured that the government would review the proposal of Badakhshan people.
