Providing Security, Govt. Prime Objective: Gen. Dostum

Kabul (BNA) The first vice president General Abdul Rashid Dostum meeting a number of lawmakers and elders from Jawzjan and Kunduz provinces here in his office said that providing security is the prime objective of the government and it would spare no efforts to achieve the goal. 
Briefing the vice president about problems in their provinces, some of representatives termed insecurity as the main problem and a matter of concern for the people.
Members of the delegation also called for construction of ring road in the northern region, providing shelter to disabled and families of the martyrs, providing drinking water, energy and collecting weapons from irresponsible armed persons. After hearing the problems, the vice president immediately ordered the chief of national directorate for security in Jawzjan province to investigate the issue of harassing people by Arbaki or pro-government militias in Khamab district.
The vice president also promised that the government would gradually overcome all the problems and remove away the obstacles from the way of people.  He also noted that the government of national unity would act upon its promises has given to people of Afghanistan.
