Members of Commission For Anti-Disaster Express Readiness

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president chaired yesterday the anti-Disaster stated run committee with respect to response towards natural calamities and probable challenges during the winter.
The participants heard a report presented by head of the National Administration for anti-Disaster. The report covers efforts for reduction of disasters during the winter in health, transport, livelihood, agriculture, shelter and facilitating of other possibilities and on the basis of analysis it categorized different vulnerable regions on the basis of which a plan of action has been prepared.
The plan anticipates provision of 30,000 metric tons of wheat, over 80,000 metric tons of food items, around 13,000 tons of fuel materials family packages, kitchen utensils, provision of healthcare for close to 5000,000 people, warm clothes, over 500,000 temporary shelters, preservation of 259 inaccessible points, activation of 35 airports, equipping of secure areas in Salangs, Mahipar and keeping open of the course of central and southern regions are details of the program for addressing and responding to the probable natural calamities during the winter.
