Kabul (BNA) Sayed Hafizullah Hashimi was sworn in yesterday as a new Independent Election Commission (IEC) member by resident Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
In a ceremony held on this occasion with participation of Vice President Sarwar Danesh Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah, Attorney General Mohammad Farid Hamidi, Supreme Court member Mohammad Zaman Sangari, and member of IEC, President Ghani in his speech withed the new IEC commissioner success in his job and while stressing on executing of law said: “Your commitment is to the nation and this should be implemented.”
The country’s President also stressed on unity, coordination and teamwork of members of IEC and ECC.
