Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan after participation in inaugural ceremony of world 22nd winter Olympics Games which were holding in Sochi city of Russia returned home this morning.
According to presidential press office to BNA, the president of the country attended in inaugural ceremony of winter Olympic Games which was held in participation of the heads of the governments of more than 40 countries including UN general secretary in Sochi city of Russia.
The winter Olympic Games were formally inaugurated in a glittering ceremony in Fisht stadium Sochi city by Vladimir Putin President of Russia.
Than the Russian the most famous athletes carrying the Olympic flags and the athletes of 88 countries of the world carrying their respective flags paraded.
It should be said that the 22nd winter Olympic games formally started on February 7 will continue till 23rd of the month of the current year , and the athletes of 88 countries will compete in various sports fields in these games.
