Kabul (BNA) Contracts for Sheberghan-Dasht-e-Alwan and Sheberghan-Andkhoy power project were signed in presence of President Ghani between Da Afghanistan Breshna Sharkat (DABS) and private companies.
The contract for extension of 500 volt electricity from Sheberghan-Dasht-e-Alwan with 308 km length was signed between head of DABS Amanullah Ghalib and KEC International private company. The project worth $60 million will be completed in two and half years.
Meanwhile, the contract for extension of 220 volt electricity from Sheberghan-Andkhoy with 70 km length was signed between DABS and KPTL and its work will start at the beginning of the coming year and will be completed in two years.
The two projects which are worth $75 million will be funded by Asian Development Bank.
