Lashkargah (BNA) Seven Taliban insurgents were killed in an airstrike in Helmand.
The Taliban wanted to attack a military base in Nawa district last night, but the air force launched an operation and targeted them.
Maiwand Corps in the southwest of the country said in a statement that seven Taliban insurgents killed in the air strike.
At the end of the attack, several Taliban motorcycles and weapons fell into the hands of the security troops.
