Flood Affected Families Received Assistance In Jouzjan

Sheberghan (BNA) Assisting program started for flood affected families in Jouzjan province today. 
The first caravan of this assistance arrived by disaster management office to Mangoti village of Sheberghan city yesterday. Azizulrahman Aemaq head of disaster management office of Jouzjan province said to BNA, these assistances took place by Afghan Red Crescent Society and donor institution of Afghan Save Children which consisted of 2700 kg rice, 900 kg bean and 180 liters of ghee for 36 families in the aforesaid village of Jouzjan province. 
Also the Pamlarona (Care) organization assisted 111 blankets, 37 tents, 37 water bags, 74 tarpaulins, 37 dishes and other cooking room equipments to the residents of Kokal village and its related areas.
Attraction of assistances continue by local and foreign institutions and after preliminary surveying will be distributed for other flood affected villages in this province. 
Aemaq said, 1200 residential houses, 260 cattle, more than 7000 Jirebs of agricultural lands and 21 bridges have been destroyed due to recent floods in that province.
