Qala-e-Naw (BNA) The asphalting work of Herat-Badghis ring-road started in Qala-e-Naw center of Badghis province yesterday.
The road has 237 meter length and 7 meter width.
Mirwais Mirzakwal spokesman of Badghis governor said the budget of the project valued more than 400 million dollars, will be paid by World Bank (WB).
According to him, the asphalting of the road formally started by deputy minister of public work and will take three years.
With the completion of this project, the northern and western provinces of Afghanistan will be connected through the central Asian country. T. Suraya-Yarzada
