Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has asked the security and defense sectors to provide full coordination among them and draw the people cooperation in restoring security in the country, a statement said the other day.
Chairing the National Security Council (NSC) meeting, the president was first provided with information about the security of some provinces including Helmand, Uruzgan, Kunduz, Farah, Baghlan, Faryab and Kunar and lauded the devotion of the security forces in their effort to suppress insurgents and foil terrorists’ activities in the country, the statement said. The meeting directed the security and defense sector to do their best to provide full coordination and have preparation for rebuffing any possible enemy threats and most importantly have coordination with each other and cooperation from the people, according to the statement.
The meeting also tasked the ministry of interior to have vehicles with no document registered and the owners be provided with biometric system, said the statement.
