21 Armed Taliban Killed In Paktia

Gardiz (BNA) At least 21 armed Taliban killed and 30 others wounded in a joint operation of Afghan-NATO forces in Sayed Karam district of Paktia province.
Col. Mohammad Sharif Yaftali commander of 203 Tendar army told BNA, Sayed Karam district of Paktia province witnessed some insecurities like, armed attack on security posts, roadside mine planting which killed and injured a number of countrymen.
Yaftali said, on air and ground attacks of Afghan and NATO forces 21 rebels killed and 30 others injured in their hideouts. Among the killed bodies 8 Pakistani nations included.
According to the source, several light and heavy arms of enemy have been destroyed in this operation and a car full of explosive materials have discovered and neutralized by security forces.
