CHARIKAR CITY (BNA) More than 20 people were martyred and over 50 others were wounded following a blast that went off near the site of an election rally held by President Ghani in Charikar city the provincial capital of Parwan province.
According to BNA report, security officials in Parwan told the blast took place close to a presidential election rally belonged to President Ghani in Jangal Bagh region, Charikar city.
Eyewitnesses say, more than 20 civilians and security personnel were martyred and over 50 others were wounded following the blast.
Women and children are among the dead.
It has been said, President Ghani was present in the gathering while the blast occurred.
Military officials said nothing about the casualties of the incident.
No individual or group has commented regarding the blast so far.
