Kabul (BNA) Our countrymen are aware that baseless accusations on embezzlement of one million dollars made against the ministry of information and culture.
As a result of which, a mixed delegation of high administration of overseeing corruption, attorney general and Kabul crime investigation department comprehensively scrutinized the issue and sent their final result to presidential authority.
The final result and conclusion of the delegation reads: “One million US dollars was pledged by South Asia Foundation to Afghan government, but it was not paid at once. The money was paid in installments and the documents clearly show that the money paid to the ministry is spent transparently and legally.
The amount which was spent during incumbency of Afghanistan section South Asia Foundation, of the MoIC Dr. Sayed Makhdom Raheen, amount to US $ 229799 (two hundred and twenty nine thousand and seven hundred ninety nine) which was spent with complete transparency.
Therefore if the minister of information and culture would like to appeal for restoring its prestige which harmed by shameful accusations can refer to the relevant authorized organs.
