Kabul (BNA) In spite of that, the state relevant authorities assure the reduction of gas price in near future, but the people express their concern in that regard.
BNA economic affairs analyst commenting on the issue writes since some years ago, by coming fall season, the gas prices go high in markets of the cities.
Some financial experts relate the issue to lack of monitoring organs over the importers but some others say the prices of the goods closely link in to supply and demand in the market.
However, the people do not think about the reasons behind sky rocketing high prices of fuels specially gas and say, they purchase the fuel with high prices every year in this season.
There is no doubt that gas has changed in to as an essential material in the life of families and the citizens use the material in both warm and cold season alike.
In addition, there is no suspicion that the gas importer company concludes long-term contracts with gas exporting countries and in the contracts, the quantity of the gas to be imported has specified. Therefore, it would be difficult to attribute the issue to supply and demand in the market and conceal the corruptions made in the process of importing this essential good particularly in the cold season.
The majority of the citizens claim that the authorities know that expenditures of gas increase in fall; therefore, if the importers and relevant authorities do not consider this issue while signing the contracts, it would be their fault.
