Kabul (BNA) In his interview with Geo TV of Pakistan President Karzai said that he has no complain about the people of Pakistan because they shared their home and food with the Afghans during the Jehad years, but we seriously complain the military and intelligence of Pakistan that using religious extremism trying to destabilize Afghanistan.
He added that using of extremism as a tool against Afghanistan one day will engaged Pakistan itself as well.
He added that the military apparatus of Pakistan and its intelligence agency always consistently misusing the Afghans goodwill has tried Afghan governments work as their puppets and surrender to the evil will of that country.
But these efforts will have no any result but destruction and casualties.
This is a clear fact that Pakistan is doing all these destructive activities for recognizing the Durand Line, but it will never reach this evil goal.
He added that the people of Afghanistan will not allow their governments to their country become a place for implementing Pakistan’s strategies.
Despite all of these the people of Afghanistan want friendly relations with Pakistan but the relation based on mutual respect, observing national sovereignty of each other and equal rights between the two nations, not the relation of servant and boss.
May be there has been such an approach in the history during the Taliban rule but it will not be repeated again.
Answering a question regarding to the Pakistanis authorities efforts for better relation with Afghanistan said in reality it is the government of Afghanistan that exerted much efforts for friendship with Pakistan, adding that despite all these efforts of us, the intelligence of Pakistan did nothing for strengthening friendship during the last ten years so I want the people of Pakistan since one year left for my administration using the opportunity do their best to ensure friendly relations between the two countries and a peaceful future.
He emphasized that in the 65 years history of Pakistan, no government in Afghanistan had such contacts with that country the Afghan government had during the last ten years, and it should be mentioned that the Afghan government was the initiator of those efforts. The Afghan government strived hard through convention of different meetings in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Britain, the US and other countries to boost and improved bilateral and multilateral relations with Pakistan.
It should be mentioned that all these were carried out through Afghan government’s initiatives not Pakistanis. Unfortunately Pakistan did not use all these opportunities for restoration of friendship between the two countries.
At this interview President Karzai answering a question about the attacks of drones in Pakistan said that despite the fact that the attacks of drones in Pakistan depends to the US and Pakistan, however we are against all attacks which cause the loss of lives of innocent civilians.
He noted that because of casualties among civilians we are beside the new prime minister of Pakistan who is against drone attacks.
