India Builds New Buildings For Two Schools

Kabul (BNA) An agreement was signed in the presence of Herat governor based on which two school buildings built with financial support of India.
According the agreement two buildings equipped with all necessary equipment to be built in Herat city at cost of 370000 $
Farid foundation that is in charge of constructing the buildings declared that by completing the construction works of the building an important part of students’ problems would be settled.
The head of education department of Herat called the role of charity organizations and people in education development vital and important.
The representative of Indian embassy in Kabul promised his country’s participation in conducting developmental projects mostly in the provinces among them Herat.
Although it has been said that during the current year, Herat education suffering from shortage of 2000 teachers , but appreciating Farid foundation and India said, ‘” the priority of local government is settling the problems of education.”
Herat governor calling the shortage of 2000 teachers in the province regrettable asked the ministry of education to take effective measures in that regard.
He asked the participation of private sector, rich people, and the heads of relevant organizations in growth of education in that province.
The two buildings to be built for the girls deprived of education in Engil district and the other for Baba Zangy Ata School at the center of Herat city.
