Kabul (BNA) The Cabinet with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the chair held meeting the other day, BNA reported.
At the outset of the meeting, the president besides introducing 16 more ministers to cabinet, also thanked the parliament for approval of the cabinet nominees. Calling upon the cabinet members, the president said since the nation has reposed trust to you the cabinet members you have to work honestly for peace, stability, prosperity and improving the living conditions of the citizens.
Our objective is to bring reforms and positive change in the living conditions of the people within the framework of Islam teaching and the constitution. Speaking in the cabinet meeting, the Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said that the people of Afghanistan by demonstrating trust to the cabinet members want the government to serve the nation. Minister of Foreign Affairs at the end of the cabinet meeting briefed the participants on agreements about hiring experts from Sri Lanka to Afghanistan in the fields of education and sport which were approved by the cabinet.
