Turkmenistan’s Trip Full of Achievements, Afghani Delegation

Kabul (BNA)  In a joint news conference which was held the other day, ministers of finance, mines and petroleum, agriculture and irrigation and president’s senior advisor, Dr. Humayoun Qayoumi briefed about their Turkmenistan trip’s outcomes to journalists, BNA reported.
On 17 Sep. these government high-ranking officials headed to Turkmenistan to discuss some important issues such as Turkmenistan-Tajikistan-Afghanistan-China railway projects, power transferring project to Afghanistan and other regional countries and some other projects with Turkmen officials, BNA added.
Work on TAPI project will be started simultaneous with holding of Turkmenistan’s twentieth neutral summit, as well as a conference between Afghanistan and Pakistan will be held on the project in near future, minister of mines and petroleum said.
In the field of buying wheat, Afghanistan’s fresh and dried fruits’ export, expansion of cooperation in the field of carpet industry and some other agriculture-related issues were also discussed in the conference, minister of agriculture said.
Likewise, presidential senior advisor, Dr. Qayoumi spoke related to power transferring from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan and regional countries which has the capacity of 500,000 watt, as well as establishing railways which both sides agreed on it.
Calling the trip to Turkmenistan full of achievements, the members of the delegation stressed on implementation of the projects.
