Kabul (BNA) Minister of Finance, in a meeting with Ambassador Pierre Mayaudon, the new European Union Head of Delegation to Afghanistan, exchanged views on making necessary preparations to successfully carry out the International Ministerial Conference, scheduled to be held in Geneva in 2018, the MoF said in a statement.
Besides this, they outlined achievements of Afghan Government on commitments made at Brussels Conference and reforms in income sources. Additionally, anti-corruption, strengthening system, Kabul Process and other relevant themes were also part of the meeting’s agenda.
According to another report Eklil Hakimi, Minister of Finance, in a meeting with Mujeeb-ur-Rahaman Karimi, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development discussed upcoming operational and development plans, organizational structure of the Ministry, implementation of citizen’ charter program and reforms.
Likewise, they stressed on alignment of national budget with priorities and needs of the people thereby ensuring transparent and effective public expenditures of the ministry.
