President Ghani Holds Video Conference With Provincial Councils Chiefs

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani talked to the country’s all provincial councils chiefs and members through video conference.
In the video conference, acting director for independent local organs Nadir Yama spoke related to problems of provincial councils.
After hearing demands and suggestions made by chiefs of provincial councils through the video conference, the country’s President praised members of provincial councils for their efforts towards coordinating the people and supporting the country’s security and defense forces.
Addressing members of the provincial councils, President Ghani said, “Your clear vision in connection with counter corruption and going towards of good governance is a matter of hope.”
Mohammad Ashraf Ghani expressed his deep condolence over floods in Ferozkoh, saying that aids have been sent to Herat and would be soon sent to Ghor and it was determined that emergency committee would soon held an inclusive session to send aid to flood-affected people.
Related to Shafaq operations, the country’s President said the operation was countrywide and its achievements were considerable, adding that the situation was under the control of Afghan national  security and defense forces and their equipment problems would be addressed.
In the video conference, the country’s President praised pilots, commando and NDS personnel for fulfilling their jobs with full precision.
President Ghani said evaluating process in connection with deputy governors was carried out and the government’s attention would be on districts next year, adding that problems of districts’ buildings, provincial councils and concessions of provincial council members would be also solved.
The video conference was also attended by chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and a number of cabinet members.
