Aibak (BNA) United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has assisted 113 displaced families in northern Samangan province.
UNHCR spokesman Mohammad Fahim Hamdard told BNA, the assistances have been distributed for those families, who already surveyed by UNHCR with presence of Samangan government officials and refugees administration of the province.
Each families have received 100$, the families during the current year return their homes from neighboring countries and some of them due to insecurity migrated in Aibak city the provincial capital of Samangan province.
Meanwhile, Abdul Ghafour Shakanj acting directorate of refugees in the province appreciated UNHCR aids said BNA, it is an effective assistances for the displaced families during the winter season.
According to him about 5000 displaced and refugees families registered in refugees’ directorate of the province.
Spokesman of UNHCR express that in the next days they will distribute assistances for more than 7,000 displaced families in 9 Northern provinces.
