Four Taliban Commanders Killed In Recent Clashes

Herat City (BNA) Four commanders of Taliban terrorist group were killed and three others were wounded in clashes with Afghan security forces in western Herat province. 
Jilani Farhad spokesman of Herat governor told BNA, the clashes occurred, while a group of armed oppositions attacked on a security post in Soni region, Chesht Sharif district of the province, which with reaching reinforcement troops the rebels faced with full resistance of Afghan security forces.
He added, the militants after sustaining heavy casualties flee from the area and clashes ended.
According to another report, four rounds of mines have been discovered and defused by Afghan security forces in relevant areas of the province.
The mines had been planted by Taliban rebels to target Afghan security forces and civilians in Shotargada area, Shandand district of Herat province.
