Trenkot (BNA) A commander of Taliban is among six insurgents killed in a clash by police forces in Urozgan province yesterday.
Press in charge of Urozgan police told BNA, the clash started while Taliban wanted to attack on local police checkpoint in the outskirt of Dehrawod district, their attack was repelled by police forces, in which a commander including six insurgents were killed and two others were injured.
According to another report, three terrorists were killed and two others injured in an operation conducted by security forces in Chora and Khas districts, Urozgan province.
Colonel Mohammad Mohsen Sultani press in charge of Atal 205 army corps said BNA; security forces killed three terrorists and wounded two others in an operation in the mentioned districts and also discovered and neutralized three mines from Maiwand and Khakrez districts of Kandahar province.
