Irrigation Project Construction Work Begins In Mazar-i-Sharif

Mazar-i-Sharif (BNA) The construction work of irrigational network was commenced in Mazar-i-Shrif today. 
Engineer Abdul Jamel head of irrigation office of Balkh province said to BNA, the project work will continue one year.
This project funded from financial assistance of Germany at a cost of 1,700,000 Euro and with completion work of the project, 65 per cent residents of Mazar-i-Shrif will be benefited from water. 
According to him, cleaning work of potable water wells in Takhta Pul area, Naher Shahi district and digging of 8 other wells in the center of Mazar-i-Sharif is in the plan of the next projects.
The next project also be funded by German at the cost of Euro 270,000.
