NSC Reviews Security Situation

Kabul (BNA) The National Security Council (NSC) with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the chair which held in Arg the other day reviewed the security situation of the country and the region including the Yemen situation and it was decided that the government in the light of opinion of religious scholars, Jihadi leaders and politicians to announce its stance with regard to the situation in Yemen, the President Press Office said in a statement.
Head of the fact finding commission on the murder of Farkhunda case also presented its report and it was decided that the interior ministry in the light of the outcome of commission’s investigation to arrest all those who are at large.
The NSC in the meeting also decided to instruct the Kabul Municipality to formally rename the avenue opposite to Shah-e-Doshamshira Shrine after Shaheed Farkhunda.
Moreover, the security officials presented their reports about the abduction of 31 citizens by terrorists and calling for more coordination among security apparatus to ensure their safe release.
