President Ghani Accepts Credential of New Chinese Ambassador To Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in a ceremony has accepted credential of the Chinese new ambassador to Kabul.
In the ceremony held at Presidential Palace, President Ghani spoke related to relations between the two countries and said that Afghanistan’s relations with China as a neighboring country was key and special.
President Ghani asserted that ‘a good neighboring country’ was in interest of regional countries and could consolidate stability in neighboring countries, adding that the region was facing with common terrorism threat, so common cooperation and effort should be also followed.
The county’s President further said that Afghanistan expected China to speed up implementation of its commitments to Afghanistan.
In the ceremony, the Chinese new ambassador to Kabul said China has accepted Afghanistan as a strategic and important neighbor.
“Insecurity and war in Afghanistan is not limited to this country, but it has foreign factors; therefore, regional efforts should be made to solve the problems”, the Chinese new ambassador said.
He assured that China would make use of its relations and influence in southern Asia for consolidation of stability in Afghanistan.
