President Ghani & CE Abdullah Strongly Denounce Kabul Suicide Attack

Kabul (BNA) Ten people were killed and 20 others wounded yesterday afternoon when a suicide bomber struck the entrance to a public order police compound in Dehmazang area of Kabul, BNA reported.
The suicide bomber intended to enter the compound, but was stopped by the guards and exploded his explosive materials in front of the gate, where around ten people, mostly civilians, were killed and 20 other injured, a twitter post from MoI’s deputy minister on security affairs revealed.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani vehemently denounced the suicide attack, laying emphasize, he said that government won’t hold talks with those groups, aiming to kill the innocent Afghan people, a statement from presidential palace said. Offering sympathy to bereaved families and praying for soon recovery of the injured people, the president instructed the concerned organs to take necessary steps in curing the victims of the incident, the statement further added.
According to another report, the Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, who is in India for Counter-Terrorism Conference, strongly condemned the incident, saying those carrying such brutal attacks are against the people of Afghanistan and as a whole against the Islamic teaching and religion, a statement from CE press office stated. According to the statement, the Chief Executive has instructed the concerned security organs to spare no efforts in recognizing and prosecution of those behind the incident. Around two weeks ago, a suicide bomber targeted Moby group and Tolo News staffs in Darulaman road where 8 killed and 20 other injured.
