Jalalabad (BNA) Two civilians were martyred in a landmine explosion in Nangarhar.
The victims were father and son were on their way home from Jalalabad to Khogyani district.
According to reports, the victims were displaced to Jalalabad two years ago of fear of ISIS from their homes in Khogyani and now, after clearing their village of terrorists, they wanted to return to their homes, which were targeted by an explosion in Khogyani district.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA that a man and his eight-year-old son were martyred in the blast.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the bombing, but security sources have blamed the Taliban for the blast.
