NSP Completes 21 Sub-Projects In Uruzgan

Kabul (BNA) With a cost of more than 15.7 Million Afgs 21 sub-projects of the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development were recently completed in Chora, Dehrawood, Gazab, Terenkot and Shahed Asas districts of Uruzgan province and handed over to the people. According to the provincial manager of NSP in Uruzgan province to BNA, these development projects included the construction of canals, retaining walls, protection wall, community center, hand pumps, culverts and graveling of roads and 3,798 families have benefited from these development projects. Since its inception, the NSP has expended 1,605,401,828 Afs for implementation of 1,547 development projects in various sectors such as transport, electricity, education, irrigation and livelihood. Thousands of residents of the province benefited from these projects so far.
