Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai chaired a consultative meeting with the Jehadi and political personalities at the presidential palace yesterday.
They discussed the recent developments thoroughly, the participants emphasized that attaining peace was the right and the wishes of Afghan nation for achieving this humane goal the Afghan government agrees in opening of the Taliban office in Qatar for peace talks.
The meeting emphasized that since outside powers are also involved in the process, Afghanistan will not allow that the peace process turns as a means for achieving of foreigners aims.
They added that Afghanistan should take steps towards the peace process with the required caution and precision so that foreign interventions should not weaken the order and national unity of the Afghan nation.
