Asadabad (BNA) Security officials of Kunar province reported from clearing of several regions from insurgents in that province.
The operations started two months ago on parts of Asmar, Ghaziabad districts with attendance of hundreds of militaries and continued there.
ANA senior commander in east of the country told BNA, in latest action, several regions have been cleared from insurgents.
He added, the security forces have succeeded to destroy several strongholds of Taliban and Daesh fighters in Ghaziabad and Asmar districts.
So far, more than 100 armed oppositions were killed and dozen others have been wounded in the operations.
The operation continued in parts of the two districts till annihilation of insurgents.
