KABUL (BNA): A delegation of Pakistani scholars, led by Mawlana Fazl-ur-Rahman, the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, is scheduled to visit Kabul this week.
The Express Tribune, citing sources affiliated with the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, reports that preparations for various meetings have been finalized by the Pakistani ministries of interior and foreign affairs.
The focus of these meetings will be on addressing the issue of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and resolving tensions between Kabul and Islamabad.
It’s worth noting that Mawlana Fazl-ur-Rahman was invited to travel to Kabul earlier this month by the Afghan embassy in Islamabad.
