Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) Police of Baghlan province arrested 2 persons accused of smuggling drugs in Baghlan province yesterday.
Zabiullah Shoja press in charge of Baghlan security directorate said BNA, two persons who wanted to smuggle 20 kg of opium and 4 kg of hashish by a Corolla car from Khenjan district, Baghlan to Balkh province, arrested by police in Khenjan district.
The source added that, since the beginning of this year, 54 people have been arrested accused of smuggling drug with 4 weapons, 20 vehicles and more than 1085 kg of narcotic by police forces in Baghlan province.
