Kabul (BNA) An ambulance packed with explosive materials blown up near former building of Ministry of Interior, Kabul city today noon, deputy spokesman for ministry of interior affairs told BNA reporter.
Suicide attacker who riding ambulance was passed first checkpoint and exploded the explosive materials, when identified by policemen in second checkpoint, Nasrat Rahimi deputy spokesman for ministry of interior affairs told BNA.
Rahimi said nothing about the casualties feared due to the attack, but Mohammad Ismaeel Kawsee spokesman of ministry of public health said that till now 40 people were martyred and 140 others were injured following the attack.
Eyewitnesses called that the number of casualties is higher than officials’ reports.
