Tokyo Conference Concludes Successfully With Pledging Support To Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) The international conference on Afghanistan, held in Tokyo was successfully concluded Sunday, with pledging more support for the development of Afghanistan. 
In the conference attended 58 countries and 26 international organizations was opened with the speeches by President Hamid Karzai and Japan Prime Minister Yushihiko Noda was over with issuing a joint communiqué stressing for financial commitment of the international community to Afghanistan. 
The participants supported the strategic views of Afghanistan for the transformation decade and majority of the participants renewed their commitments to Afghanistan until 2025 with 16 billion US dollars for the next four years, giving the message that international community would stand alongside the people of Afghanistan.
