Kandahar (BNA) Seven armed insurgents were killed in recent clashes by security forces in Kandahar province.
The clashes occurred in two clearing operations conducted by security forces in Maiwand and Ghorak districts of that province.
Mohsen Sultani spokesman of national army forces in the south of the country told BNA, seven armed rebels lost their lives and another was detained in the clashes.
According to officials, several heavy and light weapons of Taliban were also seized by security forces.
It is mentionable that no any harm and casualties incurred to security forces and civilians in the clashes.
