Kabul (BNA) A notorious commander of Taliban militants with his five men were killed by Afghan security forces operation in Ghazni province.
Ministry of National Defense press office spokesman reported BNA, Afghan security forces conducted a clearing operation in relevant areas of Gylan district, Ghazni province, in which Safatullah a notorious commander of armed rebels who was involved in most destructive and terrorist activities was killed and three other insurgents wounded.
The Source added, some heavy and light weapons and military equipment discovered and detonated by Afghan security forces following the operation.
According to another report, Afghan national police forces conducted a clearing operation on a hideout of Taliban in Gereshk district, Helmand province, discovered and defused 25 Kalashnikovs and some other war equipment
Also National police forces in the last 24 hours, discovered and detonated 7 mines in different parts of the country.
