Twenty-Three Armed Taliban Killed

Helmand (BNA) twenty-three armed insurgents were killed and six others wounded in two separate operations conducted by Afghan security troops in Helmand province.
Mohammad Rasool Zazi in charge of Maiwand 215 army crops said BNA, an operation conducted by afghan security forces in outskirts of Gereshk district of that province, 18 armed insurgents killed.
According to him, two commanders of Taliban Mullah Sayeed Ahmad and Agha Mohammad were among the dead.
According to Mohammad Rasool Zazi , another operation carried out by afghan security forces in Sangeen district of that province, 5 insurgents killed and 6 others wounded.
He said, the operation aimed to eliminate the armed Taliban in different parts of the country.
