India To Help Afghan Youth To Get Professional Education In Agriculture

Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan held meeting with the head of Farmers Commission of India, MS Soaminatan in Presidential Palace yesterday and exchanged views on developing of agriculture in Afghanistan and construction of Agriculture University in Kandahar.
In the meeting, the Indian dignitary said that this country would establish a center for skill building in the agriculture sector in Kabul and also gives scholarship for 25 Afghan youth via ministry of higher education in India.
For his part, President Karzai thanked India for its contribution in the fields of agriculture and education as important step towards presenting professional cadres.
