Kabul (BNA): The seventh round of workshop on seeking opinion for drafting policy on youth was opened by the youth affair department of the ministry for information and culture here yesterday, BNA reported.
In his opening remark, the head of the youth affairs department, Timor Shah Ishaqzai said the aim of holding such workshop is to drafting policy on youth affairs and finding ways and means to solve problems besides supporting their talents, knowledge and capabilities in the social, economic and cultural fields.
Ishaqzai also hoped that the Ministers Council and parliament would endorse the policy.
Work on drafting the policy began six months ago because 68 percent of the country’s populations are youths and the can play a great role in the future of the country.
