Lashkargah City (BNA) Abdul Jabar Qahraman candidate for parliamentary election lost his life following an explosion in southern Helmand province today.
The blast took place inside office of Abdul Jabar Qahraman during election campaign in Lashkargah city the provincial capital of the Helmand, in which seven others were wounded.
According to reports, a bomb placed under the chair of Abdul Jabar Qahraman.
Mohammad Zaman Hamdard spokesman of police in Helmand told BNA correspondent, Abdul Jabar Qahraman was martyred and his seven supporters were wounded following the explosion.
Abdul Jabar Qahraman had worked as deputy for ministry of national defense, ex-member of Wolesi Jirga and was special representative of President in military affairs.
