Ghazni (BNA) Eight armed Taliban insurgents were killed in Maidan-Wardak province yesterday.
Lt. General Fazel Khoda Ibrahimkhail Thunder 203 army corps spokesman told BNA the insurgents were killed by defense and security forces joint operation in outskirt of Chek district, Maidan-Wardak province.
According to Ibrahimkhail, ten insurgents were also wounded and five motorbikes and ten planted mines of the terrorists have been destroyed in the operation.
Another report says, two leaders of Taliban group were injured by Thunder 203 army corps in outskirt of Ander district, Ghazni province, several mines of the terrorists were discovered and neutralized from Gelan and Ander district, Ghazni province as well.
