Tuesday November 29, 2016

Kabul (BNA) Recently, presence of Daesh loyalists in a number of provinces have seriously concerned the people, but the government officials and experts believe that the Afghan security forces are capable enough to fight this group and wouldn’t let it reach its vicious goals in Afghanistan.
The Daesh group is a global threat and joint regional and worldwide combat is needed to uproot it, officials said. Mohammad Radmanish, the spokesperson for the ministry of defense said, ‘the Afghan security forces will not allow any terrorist groups to insecure Afghanistan, adding the IS members have sustained much losses over the last months.’ Amid recent insecurities in the country, the Afghan security officials stressed in the lower house of the parliament that they are ready to fight any terrorist groups threating the country’s security, they believe that the Taliban have downed the white flags and hoisted the Daesh flags in some areas. A number of political and military experts told that Afghanistan is a country where the Daesh presence is completely impossible and this is the foreign intelligence agencies that are trying to create tensions among the Afghans.
Hadi Khalid, the ministry of interior former deputy and military expert said, ‘however, there are concerns over presence of IS group in a number of provinces, but fortunately, now the Afghan security forces are capable enough to fight such terrorist groups.’ He added that the terrorists are not able to fight the Afghan security forces, therefore, the Daesh project is only the foreign countries’ propaganda. Haroun Mir, another political expert believes that as the experiences proved, any well-to-do person can recruit people for subversive activities and the Daesh group enjoys financial sources and can easily recruit the Taliban fighters and unemployed youth. Over the last more than three decades, extremist minds have been increased in Afghanistan and Pakistan, Mir said, adding in such a situation, the Afghan security forces should make effort to foil the IS group plans and don’t let them be a threat like Taliban to the country. Likewise, the lower house of the parliament asks the security entities to take necessary measures to prevent the group’s activities in Afghanistan, because in those areas where the IS militants are ruling, the people suffer much cruelties. Expressing concern on emerging of the IS group in eastern provinces of the country, first secretary of Wolesi Jirga, Zahir Qadir said, ‘Daesh group plans to deploy its militants in some districts under the name of Afghan returnees and if the government doesn’t step up, Afghanistan will be changed into a big center of the group.’ This is while that the Afghan National Security Forces are now capable enough to ensure security of the country.
