Nine Taliban Killed

Kabul (BNA) Nine armed Taliban were killed in several cleansing operations carried out by Afghan Security Forces in some provinces of the country.
Interior Ministry Press Office said BNA, the Afghan Security Forces in last 24 hours conducted several cleansing operations in the relevant areas of Kunar, Baghlan, Faryab, Ghazni and Paktika province in which nine Taliban were killed, two wounded and six others were arrested.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized.
According to another report, two anti-vehicle mines were planted by insurgents in the surrounding areas of Gereshk district of Helmand province, were discovered and neutralized by police forces.
