Kabul (BNA)  The agreement between Afghanistan and US on establishing three working committees for implementing and pursuing the concept of security agreement between the two countries will pave the way for suppressing terrorists and provide further support of international community to Afghanistan.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes the first session on using the concept of security agreement between Afghanistan, US and NATO held in Kabul.
The session held in a time, the national unity government on its first days of working, signed this controversial agreement that legalized the presence of international forces in the country.
Signing security agreements between Afghanistan and US, Afghanistan and NATO created hopes that US, as a superpower and NATO, as a credible military organization will provide further support for Afghanistan that is fighting against plots and conspiracies of foreign intelligence. Unfortunately, elapsing more than a year from signing the agreements, the Afghans have not used the benefits as they expected, but contrary to the expectations the foreign interferences have become more serious, even changed in to open aggression in some cases.
The continuation of such a situation not only decreases the hopes and trust of Afghan people to their allies and supporting countries but also provides the ground for the critics of the agreement to justify their criticism. However, the recent session that held in ministry of defense, responding a series of questions, revived the hopes that the Afghan people and state enjoy the support and assistances of international community and its allies as before.
The agreements between Afghanistan and US, Afghanistan and NATO openly describe the obligations and commitments the sided regarding to responding the current problems in Afghanistan. However, the Afghans have not used the concept of the agreements as far as expected; the outcomes of the recent session have partially settles the problems.
At the recent meeting both side agreed to establish three committees as follow: financial affairs, evaluating the threats and capacity building.
It is expected the signatories of the agreements to have the same definition from enemies and terrorists. The threats facing Afghanistan should not considered as an exclusive Afghan problem, because the Afghan problem since the invasion of Red Army until now is a complicated and extensive problem emanated from outside the country and its inner factors  deeply rooted in foreign interferences. Therefore, ignoring the foreign factors of Afghan problem one should not expect that the horrible and bitter incidents of the past not repeated. Indifference of world community regarding to Afghan problem in 1900s caused grave problems and horrible incidents that seriously harmed the world.
If today, the problem not considered as a regional problem will cause a fatal incident than that of September 11.
Therefore, the obligation and committees made for Afghanistan should implement clearly and properly and focus on terrorist and extremist networks who want establish their strongholds and bases in Afghanistan. Their financial and equipping sources outside the country should eliminate in order peace and stability restore in Afghanistan and the threats not only threaten the region but the entire world removed.
Counter terrorism and extremism is a long lasting campaign, in order to end the fatal phenomenon it is required NATO and US should be serious about implementing the already signed agreements and act as they committed.
