UNAMA Woman Employee Gunned Down By Unidentified Gunmen In Kandahar

Kandahar (BNA) A woman employee of United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) have gunned down by unidentified gunmen in 4th precinct of southern Kandahar province yesterday.
Samim Khpelwak spokesman of Kandahar governor said BNA correspondent, a staff member of UNAMA have shot down by armed gunmen in Arg region, Bazaar Kandahar city yesterday morning.
Khpelwak added, about the identity of the UNAMA staff had not information, but the circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
He further added, the attacker managed to flee the scene and police started searching to identify and capture the suspects of the incident.
Meanwhile a security source who denied named stated BNA, the woman who was killed by armed gunmen named Torpiki and she was working in Human Right unit of UNAMA in the province.
The staff have targeted by gunmen while moving from his house toward office.
