Kabul (BNA) 108 armed Taliban militants were killed following clearing operations conducted by Afghan National Security Forces ANSF across the country.
Defense ministry press office told BNA, the operations carrying out aimed to annihilate insurgents in outskirts of Laghman, Paktika, Kandahar, Zabul, Urozgan, Diakundi, Farah, Herat and Helmand provinces, killed 108 Taliban militants, wounded 35 and arrested a commander of them..
Numerous of heavy and light weapons and war equipment’s were seized and 24 hideouts of enemies have been destroyed in the operations.
Meanwhile, the ANA forces discovered and defused 30 rounds of anti-vehicle mines from different parts of the country.
