Jalalabad City City (BNA) Hundreds destitute and returned families received cash and foodstuffs in eastern Nangarhar province.
In-charge of refugees and repatriation department in Nangarhar told BNA reporter, in this round rice, cooking oil, bean and pea have been distributed to 716 destitute families.
The aids have provided by World Food Program (WFP), the source added.
Also 34 families, those recently were returned from Pakistan received cash in Nangarhar province.
It has been said, USD 120 detonated for each family by UNHCR in Torkham port of the province.
Meanwhile, process of returning families from Pakistan to Afghanistan is continuing.
